Intertranslations’ corporate motto is: Where quality meets your deadlines
In choosing Intertranslations as your translations partner, the company guarantees the quality of your translation project by the following means:
• effective management of all your translation projects

* teams of native-speaking translators, editors and proofreaders, who co-operate with localization and desktop publishing experts in order to provide quality results
* dedicated project managers who are outstanding in their professionalism
Most definitely. If your website is currently only in your local language and/or in English, you are missing out on reaping the rewards of globalization.
Surveys show that the German, French, Spanish and Japanese language markets are particularly lucrative and are 300% more likely to buy from a site with text in their own language and 500% more likely to read all of the website’s pages if these are in their native language. In addition, these clients are also the biggest spenders. Intertranslations believe that only companies that are open to international dynamics can fully realize their corporate potential.
Intertranslations applies the benefits of globalization to provide cost-effective services to its clients. At the same time, it employs the utmost sensitivity when approaching local culture characteristics as well as religious considerations, social and commercial habits, rules of conduct and ethical norms, which continue to vary greatly from country to country. The company also remains attuned to the legal dimension of translation texts and to any pertinent regulatory frameworks, regional, national and international, acting as linguistic and cultural mediators with skill and flexibility, as localizers as well as globalizers.
The company can provide translation services in all languages, but in majority, its basic ten working languages are as follows:
Greek, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian and Chinese.
Additionally, and thanks to an extensive network of associates in Greece and world-wide, Intertranslations is in the position to undertake the translation of texts in all European and Asian languages, including the following:
Arabic, Bengali, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Flemish, Gaelic, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Kurdish, Latin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Maltese, Persian or Farsi, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Portuguese (European), Slovak, Serbo-Croat, Slovene, Somali, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese and Welsh.
Intertranslations specializes in the delivery of top quality translation projects in the shortest time frame.
For every translation project the specific needs of the client/final user is taken into account, and a projected amount of time proposed for its delivery. This may vary depending on the language combination and complexity of the text, the specific arrangements made between the client and the project manager, and of course, the current workload. As a general rule, the company is able to undertake the translation of a minimum of 2,500 words a day per translator, including proofreading and editing.
You can send your documents to the company by e-mail, fax, post or courier which also applies to CDs, DVDs and flash drives. You may also send Mac-formatted files. Delivery of translated texts can be made by any of the same methods and format including:
• Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Open Office
* Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker and GoLive
* Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver and other HTML editors
* Quark XPress, Acrobat (PDF) and PaintShop Pro
Intertranslations charges a fee per word. However, charges may vary depending on the length and type of the document, on whether you have a corporate account with the company and on your delivery deadline: same-day translations carry a surcharge, as do translations in relatively obscure languages such as Armenian, Thai, Ukrainian etc.
Translators can be assigned to a language providing the language has a written format. There is also a minimum charge of 20 Euros + V.A.T. per project.
Intertranslations offers its clients the option to pay through any of the following methods:
• Cash
• Bank transfer or deposit
• Credit card
• PayPal
A confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement applies to all of Intertranslations’ collaborators. Security issues are treated with the utmost seriousness and translations are considered and handled as confidential material. A secure server is used to encrypt all sensitive data that is transferred online, including all documents and financial information, while clients can select among a variety of security products (SSL, e-mail encryption, SFTP).
Intertranslations is in the position to verify and certify translations, provided original documentation is supplied.
Of course, but always in conjunction with experienced native speakers. Computer-aided translation tools to assist the translation process, such as Trados, LogoPort,Transit, XTM Engine and others, are extremely helpful in ensuring consistency and technical accuracy. In addition, such tools allow the company to provide cost-effective services to clients. However, as sometimes these programs cannot guarantee the maximum accuracy of the translation text, professional translators and editors are used to spot any errors. These tools, in conjunction with an extensive global network of experienced and accredited associates, facilitates the assignment of each given project to the right translator, in terms of language combination and field specialization.
